The standard Sentry Key® Engine Immobilizer is a convenient feature that provides additional safety when entering the vehicle at night. The key comes with a small embedded chip that, when inserted in the ignition, connects with the engine and allows it to start. If no connection is made, or another key is inserted, your Wrangler won't start. It's a great feature that makes sure your vehicle never goes anywhere without your permission.
