Press a key fob button and the doors of your Jeep® Grand Cherokee automatically lock or unlock, and the interior lights illuminate the cabin. It's a convenient feature that also provides additional safety when entering the vehicle at night. Furthermore, every Jeep® Grand Cherokee key now comes with a small embedded chip that, when inserted in the ignition, connects with the engine and allows it to start. If no connection is made, or another key is inserted, your Grand Cherokee won't start. It's a great feature that makes sure your vehicle never goes anywhere without your permission.
